I've tried using Linux on laptops before, starting with Red Hat (pre-RHEL days), then Fedora, then Ubuntu. I kept going back to Windows mainly because it was easier to play my games. But lately I've just gotten fed up with Microsoft continuing to do evil Microsoft things, like requiring Microsoft Accounts to load Windows or installing AI when I don't want AI. (Microsoft has always done evil things) It's just become too much, so as part of my program of improving my privacy, I decided to move back to Linux from Windows. After a search for distributions that would both seamlessly support my laptop hardware and be relatively easy to run my Windows games, I decided on Linux Mint.
